The pianos in Kontact to me were very dull and lifeless so I went back to True Pianos. Kickstart 2 instantly solves the problem of clashing, muddled kick and bass. While going through the reviews I came across TruePianos (around 70 USD currently) and Addictive Keys (around 90 USD). ![]() I think many feel the same as a previous poster - the sound is imperfect, but generally in the sense of it being "cold" or "thin" - but it has sympathetic resonance. I am planning to purchase a VST and budget is around USD 100.
